All children have the right to egual chances

Maybe each of us was preoccupied by the following questions:Why cant't all my student have the same progress in education? How can i help my student who seem to have difficulties in acquring education?
The children who cannot cope with educatioanl demands of those who prove various forms and levels of scholar failure are still too little known, accepted and approached by the Romanian educatioanl systems. There are many cases in which this kond of students could progress easier in a normal classroom if we, the teachers could be able to accept that education is for everyone. Rejecting this kind of students from education is a primitive reaction due to the intolerance towards the human diversity. The human differences are normal and learning should and must be adapted to the child's necessities. The schools centered on children are fields of instruction for a society centered on people, which can respect both the differences and the dignity of the human beings. A successful education needs a good cooperation with the families, the school and last but not least with the volunteer organizations
In the last years the necessity to integrate the children with disabilities in the normal educatioanl system became more and more obvious. But how can we find the best ways to do this? And what are the chances to succeed? There are a lot of things which must be chanced in our educatioanl system if we are to succeed: creating an educational network favorable to the integration and inclusion of the children with special needs, assuring a flexible character of the school curriculum, colaboration with the parents, supporting the organizations which develop ideas and projects in this field.

Hello Slagana...

I think this post was very interesting about equality in educational opportunities. In the United States we have the law that all students must attend school. There are times that I wonder if this is a good law.

We also have very rigorous laws and guidelines about students with special needs and how they are to be included in the classrooms.

I'm interested to hear more of your thoughts. It is the beginning of a very good professional conversation!

The educational system in Romania is far from being ok but I hope solutions will come in the future, I hope we here could try to share ideas on this subject too.
The problem is not the educational system by itself, but the social environment who makes children to come to school allready unequal, by their very different backgrounds and material conditions at home.

Hi
Profesor, Bil :)

Why you are wondering for that law?
You don't think that is good or?
When I went on practical work, I was really really dissapointed of the way some teachers treat the kids from poor familis and the other nationalites. It bodered me. In 2007 , here in Macedonia it is a law, for compulsorily secondary school and it's for free now. But there are some familles, who don't allowed their children to go to school, cuz they have to works. Some of them, don't even go to primary school. I think there have to be some better mesurments.I think that one day the things will be changed, and i really, really hope.
